I found this book to be very heartwarming, inspirational and motivational. Packed with touching quotes, simply beautiful photographs, and a CD with songs filled with faith, courage, wisdom, strength and hope derived from Debra’s and Monica’s rocky journey in life as they battled harrowing events in their lives.  Debra and Monica were able to take the traumatic obstacles that crossed their life path and use them as a motivator to grow and create positive change in their life.

Alt and Baer’s book and CD, touched my heart in more ways than one.  It gave me the insights to understand that everything in life happens for a reason.  Everyone in life goes through tragic events in some point of their life and there are some people who unfortunately are faced with obstacles every day of their lives.  The trick is how do we cope with these obstacles?  Do we let the negative things that happen to us in life get the best of us and slowly destroy us making us feel angry, saddened and depressed? Or do we try to look at the situation pulling out the positive aspects from the situation and then asking ourselves, “What did I learn from this situation?  How did it make me a stronger or better person?

Alt and Baer’s taught me through their wisdom of words, inspirational pictures and amazing music how to accept the negative things that occur in our lives and use them to empower us to make positive changes in our lives that will help us live in the moment and appreciate the life we live and the air we breathe.  Alt and Baer’s heartwarming book and CD makes you look at life differently in a positive manner.

I never experienced breast cancer however; I gained a lot of insight by reading their book of inspirational quotes, gazing at the beautiful photographs provided throughout the book and listening to the lovely songs in the CD that make you look at life in a whole new outlook.

In the introduction, Debra opens up and lets you into her world sharing how she met Monica and the huge positive impact Monica left in her and her daughter’s life.

In addition, through reading this book I realize no matter what disease or disorder you suffer from in life there is always a positive lessen to be learned that will strengthen us and help us grow and further our horizons.  This book and CD helped me realize that everyone in this world has something, but with support, love, guidance and reassurance anything is possible.  The power of healing (mentally, physically or spiritually) is always an option if you are open it.  Alt and Baer’s book can show you how to cope, overcome and experience power of healing in this wonderful book.

Alt and Baer’s book and CD are excellent.  I highly recommend it to others.  It will make you smile, it may make you cry, but in the end you’ll see life in a different shade of light.  You’ll be glad you read it and you’ll love the inspiring CD that is included inside the book. Music heals all wounds. You can't touch it or see it, but somehow just hearing it can change your entire world.
